How to add multiple knowledge bases under one HelpKit account
Learn how to add and manage multiple projects conveniently with one account
You can create and manage multiple knowledge bases under a single Helpkit account. This feature is perfect if you have several products or services that require separate documentation spaces while maintaining centralized account management.
Benefits of Adding Multiple Projects Under One HelpKit Account
With Helpkit, you can easily set up distinct knowledge bases (a project) for each of your products. Each knowledge base is billed and operates independently with its own:
- Custom branding and appearance
- Unique URL structure
- Separate content organization
- Individual configuration settings
This allows you to create tailored help centers for different audiences while managing everything from one convenient account dashboard. Hereโs how it works:
How It Works
- Make sure you have at least one active subscription for a project (otherwise you wonโt be able to add a second one)
- Go to your HelpKit dashboard
- Click on the top right account dropdown that displays your email
- Click on
+ New Knowledge Base

- Finish the setup process

- Choose a subscription plan for your new knowledge base
- Done ๐
You can then seamlessly navigate between your projects via the account dropdown menu.
